Henna is a vibrant pigment used for body art, with these temporary tattoos clearly indicating a woman's marital status. The meaning of henna varies by the body part it adorns; for instance, single women prominently display it on their hands, while married women typically showcase it on their feet or both areas. Moreover, staining the palms of the hands and feet is widely regarded as a symbol of good fortune and health.
